Invitation to Launch of Dalkey’s Defibrillator!

Dalkey CFR are delighted to invite you to the unveiling of a new Public Access Defibrillator in Dalkey this Saturday, 21st May at 1pm.

This Automated External Defibrillator (AED) signifies a massive step in strengthening the Chain of Survival in Dalkey. When someone’s heart stops beating, every second counts!  Starting CPR early and using a defibrillator greatly increases the chances of that person surviving.

We are mounting Dalkey’s first Public Access Defibrillator on Dalkey Main Street, this coming Saturday and we need your help in spreading the word.

The AED will be mounted outside Ouzo’s Restaurant  and will be freely available for use by members of the public and first responders in the event of a cardiac arrest in the town.

We will be holding demonstrations on CPR & how to use the AED throughout the day and would love to see you all there.
