Bystander CPR Saves Lives!
As reported in the Media: a gentleman, Noel Tobin, collapsed in Marlay Park on St Stephen’s Day when his heart stopped beating moments before he was due to start a run with his friends.
Two of the bystanders, Erica & Peter, who helped save Noel’s life were recently trained in CPR by Dalkey CFR as part of our public CPR Demonstrations.
Who could have known they’d need their to use their skills so soon! Congratulations to everyone involved, and we wish Noel a speedy recovery!
Well done and thank you to Dalkey CFR Volunteers, Joe & Olwyn, who organised the training session for the Marlay ParkRunners. (Photos here)
